T3 Carbon

Hi all,

Just joined the forum as it's about time I gave my well used Speed Triple some TLC. For a start I'm looking for carbon rear hugger and front guard. Any advice on where to find them either via mail order or here in Aust would be much appreciated.

Thx

I think ebay may be your only route. I looked around for a while and could not find any aftermarket carbon. I bit the bullet and bought the Triumph carbon standard on the Super III. I will say that it is high quality. Much better than other carbon I've seen in the aftermarket for the Japenese bikes. Rumour has it that it is McClaren?????

ART - try them, google 'em. Chances are there's more in the UK.

Even though they're in £'s it's still a good deal imho! I have their front mudguard ( reasonable weave, no bubbles and hasn't misted after 10yrs), maybe I'll get around to the back hugger. I'm surprised Art are still making for this bike, good for them.

Thanks for all the help. I'm trying to contact a few of these businesses but no luck on ebay at present. I did find a site that claimed ART motorcycle accessories has gone out of business.
I took an '08 1050 S3 up the Old Road today. Nice bike, a lot of fun but lacks the character of my '95 S3. More reason to get the old girl tidied up.

Did you get a demo from Procycles?

I want a test ride but the dealer at Blacktown is reluctant.

No not a dealer test ride. I have a mate who has access to them and swindled it for the weekend.
