how many

Just bought a super 111 and was wondering how many were actually made worldwide .Been getting dubious answers from 300 500 1000.tried to find out from a triumph dealer but hasnt had much luck at moment, he was sent an e-mail from triumph saying that there was probably only a couple of hundred made and that he hasnt got time to waste on checking up.Does anybody know the actual number cheers

Welcome woodbutcher!

I can't help you with those numbers on the Super 111 but I'll say g'day anyway.

Very desirable bike you have there mate, so its almost mandatory to post up some pics of your ride, we kinda live and breath for these T3's.....

Cheers,

I had heard that 150 were earmarked for the US, in 1996.

As far as I am aware 118 came to Australia over the 1994-96 period.
In anyones language they are a rare and magnificent bird in Australia (and the rest of the world).
Look after it you lucky, lucky bugger

When I was in TX last month, I saw this parked at a restaurant:

The owner looked to be about 20, said he had 4(!), & didn't seem to appreciate it at all.

Cheers,
-Kit

Thanks for the welcome ! I had also heard that the last 150 were earmarked for the USA in 96,but this one was manufactured in 96.So i think its safe to say that nobody knows for sure. The "old bus " is very comfortable but she is still a top heavy beast.Had a Sprint in 94 spent most of the time picking it up off the floor (bit of an exageration but you know what i mean)
Been trying to get the cosmetic damage repaired on the silencer from the previous owner without much luck.Seems that we dont manufacture much in this country anymore .The guy from motad said when they stopped making them for triumph 6 years ago triumph had all the tooling off them.Anyway here are a few pics
