I finally got Keihins assembled last night. They are CVK-type, basicly same as Mikunis in different package
Throats between head and carbs doesen`t need to change, but I renewed them.
Partnumber for these is T1240086.
But as mentioned throats in airbox were changed and number for these is T2200001,
also ties for these need to change, I used some industrial.
Same cables fit both Mikunis and Keihins, also same breathing hoses and fuel lines.
I`ll still chek if there is some difference in cable part numbers.
In my case hanger for choke cable (were cables shell is mounted) didn`t follow carbs, so I had to make one out of some sheet metal. I`ll order original one and change it later.
Well, took some 2-3 hours to make assembles, then I open Pingel and let gas to flow. And it doesen`t flow to floor. Choke on and hit start button. It fires up almost at first turn.
First impression is that "This runs idle like some ****ing Honda!"
I heated engine and made some quick 20km run and it works fine.
Engine runs much much smoother and torque specially in low rpms is stronger, theres little weak area around 4600 - 4800 but had same with M:s and even worse.
With M:s bike burned a lot gas in exchaust, or at least it sounded like. Specially when braking with engine, sounded cool

With these this doesen`t happend at all. When at idle, I couldn`t tune M:s to get engine run as smooth as it does now. And I didn`t even sync those last night.
I had renewed everything in Mikunis for this season. O-rings, floats, jets (mains and pilots), needles, gaskets, needle tubes, valves. And got them carefully cleaned and synced. So I don`t think that they are in bad shape.
Don`t know if my Mikunis are bad ones but I have tried 3 idividual sets in my bike.
I spent quit a lot money on M:s, in new parts and for two "extra" sets.
And I didn`t believe that there could be difference, Keihins or Mikunis - so what?
But, regarding to my experience so far, Keihins in Triple wins M:s 100 - 0.
Maybe next week I find myself wrenching Mikunis in - hope not
OT
I got my TDI Volkswagen reprogrammed last week, improvement was huge.
Newer my both daily vehicles haven`t felt so good
