Mikuni -> Keihin (CV)
I`m about to go from original Mikunis to Keihins from newer triple.
Is it needed to change anything in cabels or rubber parts between airbox and carbs?

As far as I know, you should change the throttle cable, choke cable, & the carb-to-head rubbers. Sorry, no time to double-check that just now. Do let us know how it goes!

Cheers,

Keihins from `98 trident should arrive in week or so, I`ll report how they fit.
There should be one triple wich has this conversion in my home town,
owner told that he`s life has been much better since

Maybe I`ll ask tips from him too.

I`ve been told that throats between airbox and carbs need to change, diameter in Keihin is smaller.
I even got number for those.

Everything else should fit with Mikunis and Keihins.

And I believe so. Mikuni have oval intake, but Keihin have round intake I think, so throats between airbox and carbs need to be changed.
I'll be waiting to tell us how it goes!
