Haynes Manual

Is the appropriate Haynes Manual any use for my Trident 900. Just poised to buy one but I am aware that they can be a bit hit and miss, particularly when they serve a number of models in the same book.

I use the Haynes and its not too bad. The procedures that alter on a generic description of multiple bikes, are clearly identified, plus, its not too hard to get to your subject.

There are a few typo errors I think but nothing alarming that if followed, would result in your bike self destructing.

Just my opinion, some people hate the Haynes!

Cheers,

Roden

I use the Haynes as well and find it fine for my Trident 900. There are alot of typos though. Seems the person who wrote it doesn't know how to spell the word tire. They keep using a y. Wonder what's up with that. They use a lot of u's in words that don't need them as well.

Just pushed the "Buy" button.

BTW, the colonials should note where English originated - England. You are free to use it but not to abuse it with your alternative spellings and mispronunciations.

And here I thought it was a mix of Anglo-Saxon and Norman French with a few other bits thrown in.

You'll be happy with the Haynes. Just do a combo of using this Forum with the Haynes manual and you should be good to go!

I remember telling my English teacher way back when that I didn't speak English, I speak American....She didn't find much humor in that though.

Cool

i am not impressed with my Haynes manual. toooo generic, however, the wiring diagrams are top notch!
i am looking for a good factory book and parts manual.
