750 s3 jets?

had the carbs off to fit new throttle cable and saw that the float bowl screws had been swaped for allen screws. so i thought id have a look and see what previous owners have been messing with.
does 135 main jets on the outside cyls and 127.5 in the middle sound right?
it had the standard exhaust on when i bought it, but have since fitted the sebring 3-1 and changed nothing else.
it pulls fine but i was just wondering if they are standard size, or if anyone can recommend better. havent checked the needle setting yet but was thinking of lifting them with a 0.5mm washer to richen it up a tad.
i thought v4 carbs were a pain in the arse, but these things take the biscuit.

I am just responding to let you know that you are not being ignored. I have no idea what the 750 takes. You have a very rare machine. I'm sure someone on here will be able to help though..............Good Luck

i assume, no doubt foolishly, that the jetting will be the same as the other
750s. can anyone tell me what they run? and what do the s3 900 run as standard?
i looked at the needles last night and the clips are on the third groove. from what i have read they should be on the fourth?

Jetting same as other 750s seems pretty likely, but 135/127.5/135 doesn't sound right. Looking at the parts fiche at Bike Bandit, though, there was definitely something shipped out of Hinckley with those jets. 125/120/125 is standard for the 900, so I'm guessing that what you have is probably standard. Sorry, no idea on the clips.

Cheers, HTH,
-Kit

Float Bowl Screws.

I had to replace the the o-rings in my carbs after I returned from overseas and it had been sitting for a couple of years. In doing so I just went ahead and replaced the standard bowl screws with stainless allen head bolts to make any future work easier. I have heard a lot of people do the same thing on a lot of different bikes.
