tyre recomendations

Whatcha Folks!!!

Okie dokie, im running my 92 trident in the UK on Bridgestone 020's, front n rear. Now i been hearing rumours that these tyres aint made in sizes to fit the trident anymore, so i wondered what thoughts folks have on a replacement to these tyres. My riding is normaly touring to rallies n stuff, but with the occasional idiotness on weekends, so the 020's have done the job just fine so far.

SO there you go folks, what do i replace my 020's with????

Avon Vipers. Pick your compound. I think that a Triumph deserves tyres Made In England.

Lots of people here seem to like the Conti Road Attacks. I'm about to try a set on the Sprint myself.

Cheers,

decisions decisions

Oh what a choice. why oh why cant i just have me old 020's?????

People speak highly of these continental atack thingys, they maybe worth a look....

Avons sound like fun but then there is metzys in the mix as well.

I think i best ask the missus as she makes all the decisions normally!!!

Thanks for your thoughts chaps i shall dig deeper.....

having just bimbled about on the net, i have found prices for brigestone 020's, avon storms n metzler thingys.

seems the rumours about bridgestones not being made in my size (F 120/70/17 R160/60/18) aint true. they aint cheep either but hey ho. so now im stuck on what to buy.....
metzlers, avons or birdgestones, one of each maybe n trike the bike????

That would be me. I'm about to pop for my second set. The bike handles well with them and they've lasted a lot longer than my old D220's.

I've tried the Dunlops and Contis, but have settled on the Michelin Pilots as the best for my Trident.

One more vote for the Contis.

The bike handles well, they wear well and the front tends to resist cupping.
