Austin Trident?

Just wondering if the owner of a BRG-&-Cream Trident in Austin, TX is here. I met up with a bunch of Bonnie folks for a burger run tonight, & noticed a Trident on a side street off Guadalupe around 6:30-7:00 as we headed for Hill's. (You shoulda joined us, the burgers rocked!)

Cheers,
-Kit

Kit, Stop by Mings Cafe' at 2604 Guadalupe if you get a chance. Owner Fai "Fey" Jow is good people... you might see his Ducati 998 Bostrom (#071 of 155) parked outside. The food is Great too! Enjoy the TX hill country.

In general, the food in Texas rocks. I don't think that there's a French restaurant in the whole state. (The worst meal that I ever paid too much for was French, the $h!+ you do to keep a woman happy..., perfectly good tire money pissed away...)

Man you guy's are really making me miss Texas! Don't forget the Boiling Pot on 6th Sreet abd Stubb's BBQ on Red River. Hooter's down there is a lot better than up here, but anything with Texas women is usually better!

Fai is a long-time close friend of mine. If you show up on a bike, expect to be catered to. He's an avid rider and welcoming to all who ride. He's a good guy.

I recommend the pan-fried dumplings - the best there is.

I had the steamed dumplings, & Fai seems to be favoring a racy Beemer K-bike these days.

Marlin, I think I've put on 10 pounds between Nawlins & Texas. Here's hoping I can still get my leathers on when it's time to leave!

Cheers,
-Kit

Could be shhs97 on the forum.

This is a great time for TX, and the Austin area is beautiful now, wait a couple of months for summer and it'll change

Don't miss getting some proper Texas barbeque: smoked sliced brisket, maybe with some sausage, good sauce... Having wandered lots of places around the world, I've never found it outside Texas the same or anything close. Austinites will have to recommend a current spot, maybe closer in, tho the Salt Lick used to be quite popular.

I think its pretty unique, but I've only been here 25 years.
