Three Into One
rvm46;
I don't know about the Tach, but these guys show a three into one header (stainless steel).

rvm46,
I can't help with the tach but if you are on a budget for the exhaust, I do believe the 3 into 1 header from the T509 (885) fits the T3 motor with no clearance issues and oil filter is still accessible...I think. The 955 header does not fit, it has different port shapes.
Someone please jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.
It would then be a matter of making a mid pipe and getting a suitable can.
It may be that a new bracket would need to be fabbed for the can as well.
I'm looking at doing this if I can find the header, a local breaker here has tons of different cans to choose from.
Performance systems are a little hard to come by and expensive.

Why replace the Tach? Cant you get it repaired? Your clocks look in excellent cosmetic condition.
Look in the yellow pages, failing that contact an aeronautical engineer as they always know of an instrument maker/repairer.
Good luck.

You sure can get 'em fixed. I wanted a tach now and found a repair or replacement would be more than the $125. So now I have a tach and I can always get the original repaired later. Sure there are advantages and disadvantages to analog vs. digital as far as 'quick-glance' ability and ability to keep up with the revs... Just my two cents.

thanks
thanks for the advice on the 3 into 1 ill def lookin into it...i already have a pair of stayintune cans so hopefully i can find a header for the right price so i can shed some more usefull pounds off my bike....as far as the tach goes i dont need a tach so much for making sure i dont redline...i can tell that by sound and feel. i simply want my tach to stop dancing because it annoys me to look at....i like my bikes perfect...but thanks for the insight

If your tach is dancing, check the terminal connection on the coil, it is known to get gunked up and is an early warning to engine missing problems,
