Trident turn signal quest

In my quest for a near-OEM replacement turn signals (primarily LF), I have ordered a replacement (2700056-T0301), but it seems others have said this is not even going to be a close match. I think the early speed triple also uses the same signal.

So I've started looking around for Buell parts.

I am guessing based on some info that the original Triumph signals were outsourced to a mfg in Italy, as were some of the Buell signals. Looking at what pics I can find, they look almost identical except for length (see Buell signals I have so-far found below, but their front signals are about the length of the Trident rear signal). The last pic is an original Triumph signal.

I am guessing there is a very close match possible looking at some of the pics, and possibly standoffs, but I don't have the part numbers if there is a really close front signal match.

*Does anyone have any of the details and/or part numbers or hints for a near-exact match or a longer stalk version of these?*

Otherwise the more current Buells have a signal that will work but it does not match very well.

Do you need the whole assembly ? The signal minus the stalk is the same as a Cagiva 650ss and the Ducati 750 Sport (1987-2000) rear. You can buy used ones of those from Ed Milich in L.A. really cheap. Let me know, I have some Ducati ones in my garage somewhere. I also have a 1995 Trident so i'm sure they are the same apart from the Ducati parts having longer stalks.

Steve,

I really only need the LF rubber stalk. I'm not clear from your post what the options are, but the electrics and the lenses are fine.

Let me know.

And thanks!

The front rubber stalk on the Triumph is a different length than the Ducati parts. It's the same design and fitting but shorter than the rear and longer than the front of the Ducati parts. Actually while measuring them I realized that the lens is not quite the same (my mistake). I bet that the stem is the same as some Italian bike. I would check out Moto Guzzis etc. They look like CEV parts bin fittings. If it is a Guzzi part Ed Milich would still be your guy
Sorry for the confusion,
Steve
