Good Day from Philadelphia! I owne a 1996 S3 for a while now, and would like to dress it up some. I have been ALL over the internet looking for something to buy "off the shelf" OR a "custom build" that will FIT THIS BIKE!!! Please help. I desperately want/need cool cafe style rims for this bike, otherwise my wife will not remeber where my room is. Please help! Thanks!

Oh, sorry, Super moto wheels could look pretty nice, my bike is black and gold, so black rims with gold hubs (I have seen but no price or ordr info) would be great. Thanks again.

Welcome aboard moRecycle. Good luck finding stuff for that fine machine. Try running the post in the Speed Triple Forum and the Classified forum. Also give eBay a look.

Hi,

I have always liked the look of the original Mecatwin X90 styling based upon the Trident T300. I assumed the wheels shown below were standard T300 parts (e.g. Thunderbird Sport, Legend, Tiger), although I guess the hubs could have been mated to new rims?

I believe Central Wheel Co are one of the suppliers to Triumph (or have been), and they offer a number of wheel services, as you can see on the link. They may be worth contacting? Also I know that Dymag supply the black carbon rims for the latest Monster models.

Sounds an expensive project/wife!

Ciao,
Geoff

Other Motorcycle: Can't afford two!
Extra Motorcycle: Three would be insane
Thunderbird sport wheels would do the trick, though you might have to do some work with the rotors at the front.

the hardest part (unless your wallet is very deep) will be sourcing them. they are evry hard to get hold of. Standard TBird items are easier to get the rear hub is the same as the TBS (it's just a smaller rim, but the front hub only has one rotor mount. Hubs are not availble singly from Triumph and IIRC correctly we are talking over $1k (nearer 1.5) for each wheel new from Triumph.
