good stuff. I just sent 'em an email inquiring about sprocket availability in 530, 525 and 520. I saw 520 street kits for 1000cc in-line 4 Jap sportbikes.

I look forward to revealing what I discover. Thanks.

Hey all! I ended up ordering a 520 kit from drivesystemsusa. I had emailed a few months ago. The email response was promt but sparse so it's better to call them. Once I called though the reply was more indepth. 17/43 520 kit (I ordered based on a search of posts and before Trypcil made his post). I guess it's the same the Superbikes are running (from the seller). It will be riveted and wasn't cheap ($200+).
Really my main concern would be the longevity of it when used on the street. I'm usually pretty good about checking/cleaning the chain every 2-300 miles so I'll keep this updated.
That said, I first have to get the engine back together which means waiting for parts (and for me to return home to do the work!) This won't happen for a month and a half or so. I did however stick the airbox in my luggage and will try to devise a better one. (If I get free time). Otherwise I'll do an airbox mod right after the engines back together.
I haven't had a chance to baseline Dyno this bike yet so I'll get that done once the rebuild is complete (and post it.)
Keep the shiny side up.

Thanks again! His name is Brian. and I quote:

"I have a few 520 kits still in stock. I actually just sold one yesterday to
a guy with a 1200 and it worked out nice. The complete kit with AFAM
chromoly and hard anodized sprockets, RK gold 1000cc rated X'ring chain and
a rivet style master link runs $222.95. I have one 45t rear left in stock. I
have a bunch of 43's and 44's.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks-
Brian
800-290-9040"

PS - That 45t rear is no longer available.

Well, I'm still at a standstill on the engine rebuild so I thought I should do something: how about tackling the 520 kit? I used a calibrated scale (left arm vs right arm) and it seems to be around 2 lbs weight difference. I must be motivated cuz I actually cleaned the rim too! So motivated I plan to wheel the frame outside tomorrow and knock off the 2 pounds of crud on the swingarm\rear suspension.

I went to order a new lock washer for the drive sprocket nut and almost fell over when the dealer said they had one in stock! My hopes were dashed though cuz it didn't have the lock tabs: it was covex\concave with no tabs. The schematic shows the other style. Does anyone know if Triumph changed the part but not the pRt number?
