Dave Quinn stocks Hagon, they have replacement shocks for T3s.

I used Ohlins for mine.... they didnt show a match but were very helpful when I got them on the phone and sent one out very quickly.... ofcourse not cheaply, but better than OEM.

Has anyone ever looked into seeing if some other OEM's shock would work for our bikes?,, Just a thought

People have looked into swapping over shocks from other bikes, but IIRC they've all come up empty. I must've mentioned this in the past, but Traxxion Dynamics quoted me $150-250 to rebuild my '96 Speed Triple shock & fix the broken preload adjuster. It was just a phone quote, & maybe only worth the paper it was printed on, but considering how much replacements run I would look into it. (I would've sent it to them by now if the Trident was still running. I may still do it if the Trident becomes my track bike.)

Cheers,
-Kit

I stuck a Wilbers on mine, but only because Wilbers are the importers of Hagon in Germany and don't bother to import the Hagon for my bike as they make their own. Found it great - a real improvement over the stock one, but then again, the original was totally shagged.
Might help if we knew where you were though 8)

I bought a Hagon last year.
I put about 8K on it, no problems at all.

Plus Dave Quinn was a pleasure to deal with, asked a lot
of questions about me and the bikes riding style
I ordered a shock about 1/2 inch longer than stock, figuring I'd compress it
with my ..........anyway the 97 Sprint Sport handles better than before.

A friend got a Wilburs for his Bandit, works well but no adjustments
and seems to be "saggy".........

I'm sure they, Wilburs, have options like Hagon does.
