hello all, i got my 98 Triumph in the garage now!. i'll be photographing and cataloging parts for a few days. but here's the numbers that i have so far

98 Frame SMT381DF9WJ056906

motor in that frame(blown) 360DFT036484

extra motor & frame SMT396DJ4XJ069708

so: what do i have?

Sorry, man, I can't help you from numbers. If you show us some pics, we can probably tell you what you have. The numbers mostly help when you need to order parts, as Triumph part numbers tend to change at a given VIN or engine number instead of at nice, clean, model years.

(I am more helpful when you have questions I can answer.)

That one came through as really tiny. Maybe 800x600 or 640x480 would be a good size?

The back of the bike looks like a '98 Sprint Executive by the shape of rear plastic and the presence of luggage brackets, but a gray engine is the wrong color. Are there carbs on the bike? If so, what are they?

yes it is a Sprint Exec. i am interested in the motor(s) i have. that's why i gave the motor and VIN numbers
