How much for 1994 Daytona super 3
Thinking of selling my 1994 Daytona Super 3. Any ideas how much one of these is worth. I think only 300 were made so its pretty rare. I guess condition is average for the year.
heres a link to a pic of me at a California superbike school last year!

Hey Dave, I was watching one on ebay uk the other week as I was looking to buy it, sat at £1400 with no bids and reserve not met. I contacted the seller as it was stated as advertised elsewhere to see what he was looking for and he wouldn't say. His was high miles- 64,000, had a crack in the fairing but looked clean. I bought a mint Firestorm instead

Hi thanks for that. Mines only got about 25k miles, but the fairing has a couple of scuffs and v small cracks on it. I'll see what a dealer offers me as a trade in (prefer to avoid that if possible!)

Hey Dave,
There is a pristine, low milage Super 111 on bikesales.com.au
He has it up for $11,800. That equates to 5,300 quid.
If I had the dough, I'd buy it.
There is always someone out there who will pay for what they desire.
Don't give it away mate.
Cheers,
Roden

Hi Roden thanks for pointing that out. That one is a bit newer than mine and in slightly better condition. Actually bought my Super 111 in Sydney about 4 years ago when I lived there and shipped it back to thye UK when I moved back. Maybe I'll hang on to it for the moment ....unless someone makes me an offer I cant refuse ;-)

Wow, it is a small world!
If I start talking about the Putty Road and the Bells Line you'll be right with me!
Cheers mate,

Hi all,
Well I checked out this bike as I fully intended on buying it.
I can assure you it is not pristine, and it would be very doubtfull if the kms are correct for the wear present. The engine rattles like a bucket of bolts in a jam tin, and there is no service history from 1996. It has been for sale for ages and I would expect will remain for sale for some time yet if the price doesnt drop considerably. (the seller it quite firm on his price by the way)Rare or not it is a pig in a bag, so buyer beware.

Fair enough, it looked pretty nice in the photos though.
As for the engine rattles, well thats pretty normal for the T3's, I was a bit horrified at first but I've learnt to ignore it!
Cheers,
Roden

Fair point, the T3's do normally rattle a fair bit but this Super 111 was exceptionally bad. I has plenty of things needing attention (weeping rear master cylinder, worn headstem and wheel bearings and so on) Fair bit of corrosion in places as well. Definately not consistent with a 26000km bike that is advertised as immaculate.
Cheers.
