Headlight in "park" mode

Well, jumped on Queen Izzy to run into work early and the headlight in "normal" mode was dimmed like it was in "park" mode. Turned to "park" then back to "normal" and the light levels were the same. Activating the pass switch or high beam works normal with full high beam, except I can tell the low beam bulb is still at "park" level.
I performed the time-tested "jerk and jiggle" wiring diagnostic with no results.

Anybody been down this road? Anybody know what "park" voltage is versus "normal" voltage at the socket?

TIA,
G

I'm guessing here, but it sounds a lot like an issue I had with my Trident....

"Drain battery," AKA "park," probably does not light the low beam, but rather the parking bulb. If that's the case, then the low beam filament in your headlight is out & you need a new H4 bulb.

I had a similar issue with my Sprint with twin headlights. No low beam, high beam only. Turned out being a faulty low beam relay.
I'm not sure if the single headlight model has a relay for low and high beam as does mine but it might be worth checking.

Cheers,

Roden
