Bike Background
I purchased the bike from the owner two years ago and has served me well. Unfortunately, I do not have the space available to be a true bike collector and there are only so many motorcycles one can own at once.
The Bike
First, the bike has always been garaged and has never seen rain. As such, the bike is in superb condition with only 13,784 miles. The engine on these "T3" series bikes (Daytona, Speed Triple, Sprint models) is renowned for being bombproof. Of the few 1995 model year Daytonas I've seen, most have been in the mid/upper 20,xxx odemeter range. The bike has had regular oil changes and maintenance and runs true and straight. I had the carbs completely overhauled this spring inclusive of carb cleaning, jet kit installation, carb float replacement, carb gasket replacement and carb synchronization. You'll notice in the pictures that the standard 3 into 2 exhaust system has been replaced with a Staintune 3 into 1. Aside from giving this bike a truly unique look, the sound from this exhaust is just incredible. This bike is a looker that never fails to elicit compliments, whether passer-bys or fellow bikers. In the spirit of full disclosure, there is a 1 inch scratch on the right fairing. The tires are in good condition with about 80% tread left.
