Is this just a straight swap? I have a 98 Sprint Sport but would really prefer the higher bars of the standard sprint. Am thinking about the Genmar risers but don't think that'll really get me enough hieght.

I have no idea whether there's enough slack in the lines & cables, but that would be my only concern. The bars bolt onto the top triple, & all the Sprint models seem to use the same top triple. (Well, everything past serial number 9082, anyway...)

I think the PO of my bike made the swap you are talking about. Here is a pic of the original bars (loose) and the higher bars installed. I think the higher ones are off a standard sprint. The PO told me that it was a straight swap and no other changes to lines etc were required.

I'm not sure if Newrat is still looking for the low bars or not, but he may be interested in your lower bars, or perhaps a swap.

That angle is decieving.
If you put the handle grip back to back you'd see more difference.


I'l lsee if I can measure the height.
