Hi all,

I just bought a Sprint Executive. Love the bike: consumated the purchase with a 200 mile ride, and I'm looking forward to a nice long term relationship.

Problem is the Haynes manual is out of stock everywhere I looked...so for starters, I'm hoping someone hear can tell me if the front headlight bulb is a single contact or dual, as I want to install a Nisan modulator and they seem to come in two versions. What about the tail lamp, single or dual contact bulb?

Thanks in advance all you Sprint experts.

Hi
Just borrowed a Haynes manual to try & solve my problem. Ive also ordered one from the Haynes website in the UK. You should be able to do likewise on your side of the pond.

The borrowed manual covers 91 to 95 models, and lists the bulbs as 60/55W H4 for the headlight & 21/5W for the brake/tail light, therefore both will have two contacts at the base. Hope this helps.

Mike

Thanks for looking that up, mate. I ordered the modulator based on your research, so you certainly did help me out.

Good luck with yours.

I ended up ordering the Haynes manual for my 95 sprint through my dealer. They couldn't get the original shop manual but they could get the Haynes. I also see them on Ebay quite often. Go to Ebay motors, parts & accessories then manuals & literature.
