My 05 Sprint's front brake has been getting so bad I have to grab 3 handfulls before I can get it to bite, my dealer reckons it needs a master cylinder kit under warranty but can't fit me for 10 days. I've tried a normal bleed but it doesn't seem to improve much, any ideas ?

If you've got to pump up the brakes, it is the master cylinder. I wouldn't ride it until it is fixed. Bleeding won't fix the rubber seals in the master. Sorry.

Try this question on the Sprint ST forum. There's a lot about spongy front brakes over there. I think it has a lot to do with the brake line set-up. The ST Sprints have a single line going to one of the front calipers and then a cross over to the other caliper. I've read where they convert to a set-up that is like the one on the older Sprints. That is, a line from the master to a splitter and from the splitter to each caliper.
