Hi,
Does anyone know what the 0 ~ 60 time is for a standard 900 Sprint?
A lot of people have asked me.
Cheers,
Toothpick.

Unfortunately not - but I would also like to know the standing 1/4 mile and top speed as well (no, I haven't tried yet)!

3.2 secs 0-60 for the 95 S3 is what I recall, which is **** fast. Though I imagine that is somewhat optimistic! Share & Enjoy!

Thanks for the reply, though I doubt that I will be putting it to the test!

127 mph seems a bit low to me. The bike feels like it is capable of more than that. Not that I would ever try it.

Yeah, 127 mph seemed a little low to me too. 85 mph in sixth gear is about 5500 rpm (not that I would ever exceed the speed limit here in the fair state of Utah, honest officer :-D ) which leaves 4000 rpm to redline.

About 140mph was regarded as the top speed for the Sprint models. That's what most fo the magazines got when testing them here in the UK.

Here's an interesting story for you about top speed. My son and I were coming down out of Canada from a trip and hit a stretch on the highway where it was straight as an arrow and about three miles long. We looked at each other and rolled on. My Sprint got up to an indicated 128 and held for a while. Then all of a sudden it picked up revs and kept going to 135. I found out the reason when I backed down and tried to look in the mirrors to see where my son was on his Honda and found the mirrors had folded back! I guess there's something to this streamlining thing afterall.
