Yeah, when they go, the only route is replacement. There are two set-ups, though.
One has the switch and the banjo bolt all one and the same. You have to undo the whole thing, withdraw it from the banjo on the end of your brake line, while fluid runs out of the banjo and all over your fingers while you're picking up the new one and trying to get through the new washers that you had to buy, and through the hole in the banjo.
The other set-up has a special banjo bolt that is tapped to recieve a switch that has pipe-threads and just threads into it like a normal automotive brake-light switch. Once you have this in place, you can pick up a switch at NAPA or Pep-Boys that will fit it.
The good news is that if your bike came with the first type, like mine did, all you need to do is order the parts for the second type and put them on. :hammer:
