98 sprint 900 need some help

Wow small world eh? That Triumph dealer would be my best guess. Maybe Competition Accessories if you're lucky. It's been a bit over 4 years since I left the country so I'm a little rusty with what's around there. I'm interested in learning this kind of stuff too since I'm thinking of bringing my Sprint back with me in a few years.

Nice bike! I have a BRG one and love it. I'll dig thru the junk box and see if I have a spare coil.

That would be awesome. I was able to get the coil to work again but. I dont trust the spade to stay in. The petcock is an issue for sure.

Sorry haven't updated in a while. Had a death in the family.

I taken part the petcock an found that all the rubber gaskets were good along with the diaphragms. Seemed that the plunger was sticking. Cleaned it really good so im gonna see if that let it hold fuel now with flooding out the engine. Are they any after market options out there that dont have use the diaphragm to turn of the flow?

Found some after market options. Two valves for each fuel line (dont like this option)
Second petcock have to enlarge the hole a little but its only has on/res/off no prime, not sure if not having prime can be discard or joined?

I totally agree with kit that you should just replace ALL of the coils with nology ones. I spent way too much trouble shooting the intermittent dead bike because ALL THREE coils were bad. replace one and it ran for a while but when all three were replaced the bike became a champ again.
I have the same exec in red. a fantastic ride.

Well I have the bike up and running again. I just put some inline fuel shut offs simple solution to my petcock not staying off. Now I just need a new front tire. An tension the chain. Anyone have an idea of what I need to or check for tension?

Nology coils will not be available until at least Nov. Something about a factory move

Mine were despatched from the States a week or two ago, or at least, that's what the tracking info says. Nothing has turned up yet though :-\

You can buy the coils directly from Nology and save $5.74 apiece vs. BC; Nology's site doesn't show a backorder, though I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to call.
