I know I paid too much for them but I took a punt on the Yoshimura Cans that were on Ebay, they arrived today and are actally in better condition than I expected, plus they have Allen headed bolts rather than rivets holding them together so they look like they will be easy to strip, polish and paint, and the Yoshi plate on the side looks awesome! Not much lighter than standard cans though!!!

So once I have overhauled them I am dumping the 3-1 and going back to twin booms!

Lol had heard they were for sale...Silkie had eye balled them..true to say they are one of the rarer options for cans for the Mk1s but will look cool...nice when it turns out like that ay ;-)

Cheers

Hi Gripper, You did good with them...... I could do with a bit of that luck your having there. I'm having a nightmare with my 3-1 situation and the dentist has taken all bike cash I might have had for the last 6 months now!

Lets have some pictures when they are mounted old boy..... I'm sure they will look the dogs danglies.

Top job! \m/,

Just given the first can a quick rub down and buff, I think they will polish up really well. Just waiting for a response from Yoshimura USA to see if they can provide some new badges........

Yeah, I seem to remember reading an article in a bike magazine a while back about a trick S3 and the owner said sometimes you just need some bling, even if the bike doesnt really need it - I think he was talking about a steering damper........ I am just using him as my mentor and role model
