Me again thought i would keep both questions seperate so the threads dont get confusing.

Question is, Is there any way that the side stand engine cut out can be by passed and if so is it a wise thing to do?.

I know its a great safety feature, But the bike being quite heavy makes life awkward with this idea as its also quite heavy to place on the centre stand, I like using the side stand as most do but i find in the mornings i have to start her a couple of times while i close garage doors etc before i set off it is a tad annoying. If i am stuck with it then i will live with it becauase i love it, Just thought i would see what you guys have to say.

Thanks

My bike had an electrical mod or 7 done to it before I got it, so I know for sure the sidestand cutout can be bypassed. Same goes for the clutch cutout. Whether either of these is the reason my neutral light is always on, I don't know...

Cheers,
-Kit

Updating the thread.

I have disconnected the switch and tucked in under the tank so its out of the way its good to be able to leave it running on the sidestand while i close any doors etc behind me and not have to start it up several times before i leave to go to work.
