Has anyone here ever traveled to Nova Scotia? I need any info I can get about riding there from Ohio. There is a TT race scheduled next September, and since I can't ride to the Isle of Man, this will have to do. I'd like to know about lodging, road conditions, prices, anything that might help in planning. Oh yeah, the races are scheduled for the middle of September. Thanks!

Hugh

Hi Hugh;
British Cycle supply in Halifax offers a Nova Scotia tour guide free with any order. I don't know if they carry Hinckley stuff (I've dealt with them for parts for my Meriden and Small Heath bikes.). Maybe you could just buy a lapel pin or something. They're nice folks.

The race is being discussed on sport-touring.net. Check out this thread as a few of us there are talking about going. No hard plans have been made yet.

I got the travel guide directly from Nova Scotia tourism office, in just two days.
We are definitely going. One of our group is a TT competitor, so we'll have a great point of view to see the races.
There have been a great deal of reservations made already, so it will probably happen. If not, it will be a heck of a weekend ride!
