I love my Trident and I think it still looks good against most modern naked bikes. However if there is one area that dates it more than most its the rear seat and light area. I intend to get a new seat soon but was wondering if any of you guys had done any mod's to the rear end and the rear light in particular to improve its appearance and update it in any way. I would be most interested to hear and if possible see some pic's of any mods you may have made in this area of your bike. Cheers,

The 98 model had a different tail section and light like the updated Sprint I believe. Or you could get the updated 97/98 Sprint/Trophy tail section which should be a bolt-on.

I liked the looks of the Daytona/Speed Triple Seat Cowl, so I bought one on Ebay.

If you come up with something different for the tail light/rear fender area, let me know.

I like the look of the "curvier" Tropey and Speed Triple (T3) and want to change my std Trident side/rear panels and light to these

There seem to be plenty on ebay (UK) and at Triumph(ant)

Anybody else tried this?

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you Darrel. Yeah, I'm here sometimes, but busy a lot too.

When you riding up to Charlotte?

Benson, that's one beautiful bike! Where did you get the headlamp fairing? I'd like to fit one to my S3.

He bought it at his local Harley shop.

It is a Buell bikini fairing.

Reason I'm answering is cause he may not be back anytime soon.
