I recently saw a sprint on ebay that had what looked like stock bags. Does anyone know if the factory still has these or the mounting hardware for the same? Do the new bags fit the older sprint?

I have had a hard time contacting the US Triumph customer service rep.

I know that I sound like a broken record, but I would prefer the stock bags to GIVIs.

Thanks all.

Depends on what you mean my 'new' and 'old'. The T3 bags for the Sprint Exec can probably be mounted on another T3 Sprint with little problem (probably the exhaust would have to be lowered/changed to clear the bags). The bags from the 955 Sprints will not fit the T3 models.

A dealer should be able to tell you whether Triumph still has them. The system they use now shows whether it's in stock at TMA, and even whether the stock is "low".

Bet they're expensive though...

I have a 96 Sprint. I didn't think that new, 00-05 saddle bags would fit a 96. I will check with a dealer though (I checked the company website).

Yea, they probably are pricey...
