Like many others, I'm trying to upgrade the rear shock on my '98 Sprint. I've found that Progressive Suspension makes some reasonably-priced kit, but they don't have a specific application for it.

I may be able to cross-reference another shock. In order to do this I need the following information. Can anyone help?

Spring rate
Overall length (extended)
How is this measured? Eye to eye, or eye to clevis?
Mounting bolt size

Thanks!

Give them your weight including gear and they should be able to calculate the spring rate needed. For example, I gave Ohlins, 235lbs as my weight with gear and they installed a 910lb spring.

Length is measured eye to eye, center to center.

I hope this helps....
