I'm wanting to buy a corbin seat for my '97 trident, but would prefer the "gunfighter" model which is listed as only for Daytona/S3 models. Will the Daytona seat work on the Trident?

TIA

Shawn

If they're talking about the T-3 Daytona/SpeedIII then I would guess yes.

Any other opinions? Any local (Jersey, Philly area)) folks with a Daytona/S3 that I might be able to try before I buy.
I don't mind spending the green, but hear that Corbin's customer service is not the best.

Thanks!

Actually, I think the answer may be, No.

Corbin is pretty specific on their web page
http://www.corbin.com

The rear end (tail light etc) of the Sprints, Daytonas, Tridents, and Speed3s diverged somewhere around 95-96. The seat mounting may be different. The body work is.

At $239 +, it would be wise to be sure. Go to the model you think you want to use. They'll list all the Triumph models it will work on. If your's is not on the list (I don't think it is) then Corbin doesn't think it will work.

Mike Corbin has been in this business for a while. I think they know what they're doing.

If you're still in doubt, call Corbin. :hammer:
