been a knocking sound coming from within my fairing lately and when washing the bike i found the left headlight was loose.

upon closer inspection inside the fairing there appears to be a bolt missing on the r/h side of the left light.

can anyone tell me what the thread size of this bolt is please?

I have the same left light rattle......looks like I'll be getting an 8mm bolt too.

Thanks.

I'd better check mine as well, as the same old "bonk-bonk" keeps occuring, especially as I go down my unpaved lane. I've checked suspension, adjusted-up my headstock bearings, etc., and looked at my fairing mounts, but have not considered checking the headlight mounting within the fairing. If you're still around to read this posting, you have done me a great service by posting your thoughts and experience here. I hope you will not go away for keeps.
