Where does this blue hose go?

I know the visible end of this hose terminates at the fuel tank but where does the other end go?

Thanks!

Given that the two black hoses there look like the fuel lines to the tap, I'm guessing the blue one is the vacuum line. If so, it should go to the uncapped vacuum tap on one of the carbs. (Probably #3, aka the right-hand carb as you sit on the bike.)

Cheers,
-Kit

Anyone have a picture, the Triumph workshop manual is kind of vague. It mentions a vacuum line going to the #2 carb. ???

Upon further inspection, I can now see that it fit to carb #3 but unfortunately when the tank fell off the bike it snapped the black plastic tube that it hooks into. There is now nowhere to fit the vacuum hose. Would I be able to seal the #3 carb vacuum hole and fit the vacuum fuel line to the #1 or #2 carb?

There are people here who know vastly more than I do, so hopefully one of them will correct me if I'm wrong... That being said, I think it doesn't matter which carb feeds the fuel tap as long as the other two are capped off. Also, I was surprised to find that the carb cover is only $16, so not that big a deal to replace.

Cheers, HTH,
-Kit

Kit, the thing is, there is an scottoiler vacuum line fitted to the #1 carb vacuum that I was looking to get rid of anyways and it is a shorter run for the fuel tank vacuum pipe.

As I said, I don't think it matters which one feeds the tap as long as the others aren't open to air.

Cheers,

Kit's right, doesn't matter which carb, they are all the same and connected together. Take vacum from one, cap the other two.

Functionally, they're all the same.
