1996 T3 Brake Caliper spec

Can anyone tell me for sure if the 1996 T3 Six Speeder came with Alcon Goldline TRIUMPH 6 POTS as standard equipment or where they fitted with Gold coated NISSANs or gold coated TRIUMPH logo 4 pots?
I thought it was only the Super III & THE 1200SE had the 6 pots as standard equipment????????
Cheers Lads

Come over to the T3 forum, these people ride those ugly twin bug eyed speed triples. We ride the original beast.

Welcome, Mick. It seems to be hit or miss whether the 4-pots were Nissin- or Triumph-branded, but they're the same calipers and they're what came standard.

That being said, though, the Triumph-logo Alcon 6-pots were available as a factory accessory, so it was entirely possible to buy a new 1996 Speed Triple from a dealer with those brakes on from new.

Cheers,
-Kit
