My Mate has offered me his 95 Speedy, 3 owners from new, 16k miles on the clock, Mot'D BLAH BLAH BLAH and its in real good nick & 100% original not abused of molested for.. & ITS £2k

THEN !!

My mates mate offered me his '93 Super 3 with 27k miles on it 3 owners for 3k .. same condition really as the speedy.

Speaking as an unbiased T3 pilot....Go test ride them both, then go with the one that gives you the biggest smile in your lid.

Whilst the other factors are relevant very few, if any of us by these bikes with those factor in mind.

Obviously if the T3 is black it will be faster than the Super III.

Get both. It's cruel to keep one on it's own.

If you really have to choose then go for the speedy.

From a pratical side, some parts for the Super III can be expensive and hard to come by.

Another consideration is the weather in your area. You do not say where you are located (maybe you could add that to your member info), but the more warm weather you have the less need for a fairing. However, since you seem to like being naked, I say go for the Speedy.

I must say i've owned both & my choice would be the Speedy but they're both fantastic bikes . Just a thought buy both & put the brakes carbon goodies & engine on the Speedy !! Like people say if its hot where you live a naked bike is better . The Speed Triple seems to have a gruntier engine with more mid range & the Super 111 seems to loose a bit in mid range & gains higher up or so it seemed to me.....
whatever you get will be fantastic !!

the Speed Triple would be my choice - I know the super III has more power, but the riding position would put me off and I just lurve the naked aggression of the Speedy. It is the 1st model Speedy isn't it? the ones after that looked a bit gay IMHO

Definately the Speed Triple. Prices are on the up and if it is standard and in good nick it is perfect (apart from the fact it isn`t black of course)
From what I have read the Super 111 was a bit of a white elephant and most people actually prefered the standard Daytona 900 for road use. Rare doesn`t necessarily mean good.

Super III...absolutely the Super III!
I agree that you can't go wrong with either one...but you have to have the Super III!
Sorry, it's been 4 months since I've been able to ride mine (been below freezing here since October) and I'm going through serious withdrawal...

Other Motorcycle: The shed's not big enough
For that money I'd be putting both of them in my garage after comparing them with the prices down here.
