Sprint centerstand

Does anybody know if a centerstand can be fitted on a 97 sprint if so which ones will fit . I cant find where it might mount to on mine . I would really like one to go one it.

'97 Sprint should have one, and the mounts should surely be there even if somebody took the stand off...

Assuming the mounts are still there, any T3 sport/touring centerstand should fit. I know Sprints, Tridents, and Trophies came standard with them, not so sure about Speed Triples, and I'm pretty sure they were accessories for Daytonas, but AFAIK it's all the same stand.

Hey Kit i found out why i couldnt find the mount some dummy has removed them from the linkage mount at some time they have been trimmed off what an idot

Sometimes they have been trimmed off to allow an after market rear shock to have a greater travel....no other reason to do it otherwise ?

What shock is on the bike ?

you are right man it has a peneske shock on it and been lowered by flipping the adjusters and raising the fork tubes

at any rate i got to live with it now. it is nice having all the high dollar aftermarket stuff already there when i got it
