CHEERS! Newbie needs help
I recently had my 1995 speed triple loose ignition(all three sparks) while warming up on the the centerstand. Ive checked all fuses I could find and all other electrics work. There is a little heat damage at one of the large connectors in the headlight bucket but it appears to be intact. Thanks!

Will it restart normally after cooling down?

try the side stand safety switch and the neutral safety switch sometimes they will cause issues like that. if it is not a temp related issue.

Probably the crank position sensor, AKA pickup coil. They usually work fine cold but fail when warm when they're starting to go.

After the bike shut off it would never restart. The starter motor works well. I checked the sidestand lock out which had already been bypassed. I would assume the nuetral lock out would apply to the starter motor as well but it will be easy to check. Ill try and dig something up to check the pick up as well. Thanks all.

Also, check the kill switch if you haven't already. You can spin the starter all day long with the kill switch on.

In 1972 i bought a new Honda CB750,next day it would not start [starter motor was turning over motor just fine] . Spent half the day trying to start it with no luck, called the bike dealer & they sent a mechanic over & he got it started in seconds.Seems like i bumped the kill switch the night before & i didn't notice it.Talk about having a RED face.
To this day if a bike won't start i always check the kill switch first...LOL
cheers

The kill switch is working properly(ive been a victim also). Is there an online source to get the pin connector location and voltage specs to check the pick-up? Thanks all.

it should be pretty straight forward to find the connector. it is a 2 prong clip that is near the rear shock. Just follow the wire harness coming from the right hand engine cover. the only problem that i forsee is that this part will only test bad when the engine is hot. I just had this problem on my bike and the best place i found to get the part was the dealer. if you do check the pick up while the engine is hot it should read a resistance of around 560 ohms if my memory serves.
Good luck
Brandon
