Hi all,

do you know whether it is possible to alter the tail / brake light wiring on a Trident (1998) in order to make the lights work more like a car? I mean, have both lights on "dimmed" when running, and both light up "brighter" when braking. Right now, and I assume this is the stock configuration, only one light is on when running, while the second lights only when braking.

My idea, as you'd imagine, is making myself a bit more visible on the road, particularly when braking during the day

Cheers

The bulbs should be dual filament and both should operate while running and while braking (as you suggest). Sounds like you've probably lost one filament in each bulb.

ezride,

thanks for your reply. I checked, and it was simply a matter of poor electrical contact! It so happened that one bulb had poor contact for the running light and the other for the brake light... some "fidgeting" with the bulbs in the sockets sorted it out... now I'm "visible" again!

Cheers
