Plug Leads.

Anyone got any ideas of where to buy some reasonably priced ignition leads... Sprint Manufacturing have them at £19 a lead which seems a little steep.

More Tests

Ok , still not firing properly so done soem more tests. The resitance of each of the spark plug wires is under 6ohm is this correct? I read this article about car leads but it is probably different for mtoorcycles any guidance appreciated. http://www.ehow.com/how_2296047_test...-wire-car.html

On the coil side of things i measured the primary winding resistance on the coil (Plug side in case i have the terms wrong). Haynes said the resistance should be 10.5K +-10%
I have 2 old coils which measured 9.72 and 12.44. I brought a new coil from Sprint manufacturing and this measures 7.95 which is well out.
Is the new coil duff? Along with the 12.44 coil...

As ever any help appreciated.

Further investigation... I thought, wrongly, all four carbs were linked by the fuel in pipe. Anyway i took the carbs off i found cylinder 3 and 4 had no fuel filter and 1 and 2 has a blocked fuel filter... well think i have found the problem!
