Making a 1200 Sprint Exec

I sold my 1200 Trophy a while ago and miss it quite a bit, so I have decided to make a 1200 Sprint Exec out of a old knackered 900 Sprint (non-Exec) and all my spare 1200 bits.

I have a lot of 1200 bits laying around, but what are the main differences?

1 - Engine. I have a '97 Trophy 1200 I was going to sell.
2 - Exhausts. I have a complete set with Trident cans.
3 - Coils. I have a set.
4 - Carbs/Air box. I have a set.
5 - ECU. Does the 900 ECU work on a 1200? I think the 900 has a triple point pickup and fires all three sparks at once, and the 1200 has a single pickup and fires both coils at once and should work? Or am I in the land of the fairies with that?
6 - Oil cooler. I have a bracket and oil cooler, but no other bits yet.

Is there anything else I have missed? Apart from being a little too wide for the fairing the 1200 should go straight in?

If anyone in the UK is breaking a Trophy there are a few bits I still need.

The ECU is completely different; the triples have 3 seperate coils.

The Sprint fairing, I believe, bolts to brackets which bolt to the engine. Fitting the fairing sounds likely to be the most difficult part to me.

Let us know how it goes. Putting a 4-cylinder motor in what ought to be a triple is wrong, but we're still interested in the technical details.

Cheers,
-Kit
