I had an expert look over the bike today and he immediately noted it was firing on 3. So we toook a plug lead off to find which was causing the problem. No 4,3 and 1 came off and the engine stopped, with no 2 the engine ticked over. Compression is good on the engine. So I swapped over the coil and found the problem shifted from 3 to 4 so i thinki need a new coil pack... anyone know where the cheapest are in the UK?

(Daytona 1000cc in case you forgot)

Used stock coils should be very common and very cheap. Just make sure to buy from a decent person - there are many defect OEM used coils around, too

Well got the neww coil today... and she is still missing...however when fiddling she suddenly picked up, what could cause it?
At the time i was fiddling with the tank so i think it might have dislodged the HT lead.
I found that some of the leads werent feeling like they connected with the coil, so i crimped the connection a little. Some of the plugs dont feel like they are hitting home with the leads to they feel a bit... well loose.

The HT leads are removable - maybe check that they are snug?
