Brake caliper compatability

Hi, I have a 1994 Trident Sprint and need a front Nissin caliper, am I right in thinking one off the Trophy would fit? The pic on ebay looks the same as mine, just after confirmation before buying.
Cheers

Ask about / check the distance between the centres of the mounting bolts.

Earlier Sprints and Trophys had 2 piston caliper with fixed discs - later models had 4 pistons and floating discs if that much is the same you should be ok but don't try putting fixed disc calipers on floating discs or vise versa - hope that helps

If you have floating rotors it might be a good time to upgrade to the 6 piston Hayabusa calipers.

Some Tokico calipers on eBay right now.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tokico-6-pot-calipers-Busa-Bandit-1200-TL1000-ZX6R-ZX9R_W0QQitemZ330317118983QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Mo torcycle_Parts?hash=item330317118983&_trksid=p3286 .c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1778%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C3 9%3A1%7C240%3A1318

The seller mentions that they fit some Triumphs, but still worth checking the mounting bolt centres.
