Gasket Templates
Here are 2 zip files full of TIFF files for use as templates for making gaskets. The material used for more recent Triumph gaskets is called InterFace TS-9013. It is probably better to use original Triumph gaskets than to attempt to make your own from these templates, but it is probably better to make some from gasket paper & these templates than to use some sort of liquid goop. To the best of my recollection, these should be printed out at 150 DPI & 100% without resampling.
These files are my own creation; I explicitly grant the license to use them to anyone involved in working on T3 motors.
Cheers,
-Kit

gaskets
Thanks Kit - great resource and hope I never need most of them.
The outline of the countershaft sproket cover gasket is most useful. have printed all and will put in cold storage. Now I wonder if you can put gasket paper through a photocopier - best tried at work!
Thanks and regards- Kiwigeoff

Interesting idea... I don't know if you can get gasket paper in cut-sheet sizes, but you could surely cut it down....
Anyway... According to Wikipedia, the fuser in a laser printer / copier generates temperatures as high as 392* F. InterFace TS-9013 is spec'ed for peak temps of 550* F.
You can blame it on me if anything goes wrong.
Cheers,
-Kit

Great resource kit and very useful in an emergency (if only just to get to the dealership to buy the real ones). The question is, what is InterFace TS-9013 (is it a certified grade of paper) and where can you buy it ??
Cheers

Steve, InterFace TS-9013 is a gasket material made by InterFace Sealing Solutions. I haven't the foggiest idea where one might buy it. I am also fairly certain that just about any gasket paper will do for the short term, and anything that matches the specs linked above will do for the long term.
Cheers,
-Kit

Thanks Mottley,
You know I might just buy a couple of sheets and have a go. Given the crazy prices that Triumph charge for some of the gaskets, it might just prove to be very usefull.
Cheers
Steve

I am going to have a go at making a sprocket cover gasket on my laser printer at work - anybody know what the paper thickness should be? The specs given for ts-9013 seem to cover everything except thickness
Cheers
