Urgent Help Please 24hrs Left
Sorry about this post as ive posted already about exchaust cans but only 24hrs left and if these are a deal carnt afford to miss out on them bearing in mind that the price on the add is for one can only already spoke to the seller who pointed this out to me so will be looking at double the price.
Will they fit on my 1998, 900, sprint, executive Been told both yes and no?
Got this reply off a member on my other post

One again sorry for a post almost the same as my other one and many thanks to any one that can help me out on this.

Normal Sprint 900 cans will not fit an executive - they point up at too steep an angle and hit the panniers
I know this for certain because before we made special cans for the Exec we sent out a couple of sets of normal Sprint to customers thinking they would fit and got both back - we then had to borrow an Exec and re-jig the pipe work by about 15 degrees to get link pipes that would fit - we would not have done so if there was any easy way round or work round we could have done.
They will not fit - the only other cans that will in the Triumph range are Trophy cans

Thats me shot down then.
Looks like over time at work to save the money and buy new ones at my rate of pay should only take 5months to save the amount needed

depends how often you run around with the hard luggage on....if you only use them, like, once a year, keep your stock pipes, and swap them over when you want to use the cases

Pipes/Panniers
Just for a little more variation, I have a mate over here with a 1200 Trophy who wanted some nice angled up cans, which he duly bought and installed. His answer was to cut about 40 mm off the bottom of his panniers - made a really nice professional job of it too.
Sprint or early Daytona cans would work with this.

Not got the hard luggage some on sold them before i bought the bike.
Planning to keep my stock cans when i do find some new ones not got the £300+ i need to get some from trident yet.
A mate of mine said his mate can make me some for my bike so going to see him and get a price
So going back to wolfs reply saying the ones on Flebay wount fit my bike is this still correct seen as the bike is as shown on my picture.
