Is your first service included in the price of the bike? If so, they can require you to have that one done at an authorized dealer to preserve the warranty. As for subsequent services, that depends on the law where you live.
Many people in the States prefer to do their own service, and that's not a concern for warranty here so long as: (a) you document that you have done it, and (b) you do it right. That's the part a lot of people fail to consider...if a problem crops up that is caused by setting valve clearance incorrectly or failure to torque something to the right spec, Triumph will not regard that as their problem.
