Street Riding position

I have been actually able to track down several options to obtain a Street Triple. I will just have to do a little travelling to do it but that is not a big deal.

Anyway - can anyone relate to the comfort of the riding position? I am just about 5'11 or maybe 5'11 -1/2. 32 inseam.

I know these are a little more compact than the S3.

Are you guys that are 6' or so comfortable on the bike?

Im 5'11 and 11 stone 2, and was perfectly comfortable on the ride home from the dealers yesterday (~2 hours, 2.5 hours)

It ain't no Honda GoldWing, no doubt, but it's reasonably comfy. That is, in the "roadster" genre. This being earnestly reported after 6 months of ownership (see my post of today.).

And I find it rather amusing, if I may, that someone should seemingly have COMFORT-related questions or implied misgivings about the Street Triple. Jamie

Just did 600km highway in one day. Cruisespeed arround 130-150 kmh.
No problems what-so-ever! No turbulence. More comfy than a cbr.
Best seat ive ever had. Only if you want to go faster than 150 for a long time its going to be a problem, but you can only do that in Germany or maybe france. And its not much fun, even on a supersport.

She does cruise nicely at 80-90MPH which I find surprising for such a light weight machine. After putting 1500 miles+ on the stock seat I can honestly say it does its job pretty well.Like any seat you have to give it a chance to mold itself to your posterior before passing judgment. I will likely have mine recovered in leather just because I like a leather seat on my bikes, but the design and padding seems more than adequate if not downright cozy in light of what the bike was made to do.

I'm 5'11, 32 inseam and no problems here of the bike. I do have my own problem though...my hands go numb quickly. I'm 36 yrs old and think yrs of motocross bikes, mountain bikes, thousands of rounds of ammunition through firearms and such may have taken it's toll on the nerves in my hands (particularly the right one). With it's moderate forward lean the bike adjusts well from more upright relaxed to leaned forward sport as needed. It does put just enough pressure on my hands though that I require breaks/stops often and the vibration (mild for most folks) doesn't help me much. Ergonomically...it should fit you just fine
