>>> Is it true that with one of those _big_ triples, when you give it a few revs then dump the clutch, it doesn't really accelerate, but the world's rate of spin changes? >>>

Yes. In fact, if you do it right, you enter the space-time vortex.

At the very least, your pulse and respiration certainly change!

In fact it can effect space-time so much that you actually get younger while you are riding it. The higher the revs, the greater the effect

It's worth the wait!

I ordered my Striple back in October last year and picked it up 2 weeks ago, I did 500 miles in aweek to get the 1st service out of the way, and now she goes like the wind.......most definately worth the wait

WELL I got her!! Worst 110 miles I've ever had to ride... why? I had to keep it under 5k... and that barely lets me do about 65 mph. I was ****ing off a few drivers by varying between 50-65 mph the whole way back lol

I also took frequent stops to make sure everything was fine.

After I got back in town, I made something to eat.... but after I finished making the food, for some reason I found I was still hungry... then I noticed I had my helmet and gear on and I'm cruising around on my striple... still hungry

So I finally got done riding for the day... I put close to 200 miles on her in one day. Way too fun to stop riding!!

...now I'm finally eating my food I made bout 3 hours ago

Man, congratulations too. Awesome piece of work. I understand exactly what you mean. I thought I was only going to ride around the corner because after dealing with the financing non-sense it rather made me tired.

However, once I sat on it, heard that humming and that awesome green color reflecting the sun, it was on. Around the corner became around the apple and so on...

It is difficult to adjust to this break-in period, but it wiil be over soon

Have Fun and Safe Riding
