Any body using a Ram maount for their phone ?

Hey guys does anybody have the Ram mount installed on there STs ? This one
. Looking at the mount point on my bike it looks like the handle bars would hit the phone when you turn but not 100% sure .

Thanks .....

I have one. No handlebar issues. Have a couple mounting points set up. Will post pics when I get home.

Here are the pieces I use:

Holder - Ram Mount Cradle Holder for Universal X-Grip Cellphone/iPhone with 1-Inch Ball - Non-Retail Packaging - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0055PH0XA..._6bBqzbYFYZ85D

Arm - Ram Mount Composite Short Double Socket Arm for 1-Inch Ball Bases https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005KWPJ04..._NcBqzb6W3FEXJ

Mount - (screws into stock mirror hole) RAM Mounts (RAM-B-349) 1" Ball with M10 X 1.25 Pitch Male Thread https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0036G97DG..._qdBqzbA11YK1H
-- OR --
(Screws into handlebar clamp) Ram Mount Motorcycle Handlebar Clamp Base with M8 Screws https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005J43I56..._DeBqzbWVDTR4D

I have both mounts and use them for phone and gopro at the same time. Rock solid

Be careful with this version, I went over a railroad crossing that had a bit of a jolt to it and the phone bounced right out. Might I not had it in the holder properly? Maybe but I doubt it as I'm a bit OCD about stuff.

I picked up one of these at a show and it seems to hold very well.

Seems to hold really well. No popping out with my iPhone 6 Plus.

If you go with the RAM mount, get a heavy duty rubber band and wrap it around the posts. That made a huge difference for me.

Good luck.

I use one with the steering stem ball. It's great. No interference with the bars.

I use the one that mounts to the stock mirror location that the poster has shown above. I haven't had it interfere with anything including the tank bag I have on 90% of the time. I don't use it a ton - when I have I did not experience the phone popping off.

I like that ball mount in the old mirror mount! Finally a use for that! How is the iPhone for recording while on the move? Obviously not as good as a gopro, but if coming up to the a nice section of road is it decent or too much wind noise and shake?

I'll try to record on my way home to find out.

Nice to see RAM including the bands. That will make that RAM solid. Kudos to them!
