So my dealer called yesterday and said that my new streety is on the boat and he gave me the complete vin number

My question is does anybody know how long transport takes across the pond.. also someone said that the dealers dont get complete vins untill the bike reaches port, does anybody know the truth?

I don't know if there's such a thing as the truth to be told. There could be several equally valid answers, all boiling down to "it depends." Those of us who were in the reservation program got notice from Triumph in Newnan (GA) once the bike was actually leaving the warehouse in New Jersey. Dealers in the UK can apparently look up VINs as soon as the bike is on the production line, however, as a VIN is assigned to each ordered bike before it ever starts down the line. It may be that dealers here can do the same, although the timing of when they can do it might vary according to exactly how the bike was ordered. You'd probably want to ask your dealer whether they specifically enquired about your bike, or whether this was some automatic notification from Triumph.

Crossing the pond takes about a week. How long it may be in the customs shed before being cleared to the warehouse in New Jersey...that could vary. So could the amount of time between the moment the crate is cleared by customs and when the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin is printed for it (that comes from Newnan for some reason, apparently, not Hinckley). The truck transit time can be a week and a half or more, though it is usually less than a week if all goes well.

Congratulations! Pretty much right on schedule, too.

As always, be sure to get some pictures when you can, and post your riding impressions too.
