Clean Me

Today the local police ran a free taster bike safe course for those wanting to take part. Unfortunately when it was my turn to ride 1:1 with a police motorcycle rider the heavens decided to open with thunder and lightning.

End result.

That is the road fund licence which you have to pay every year in the UK. Just another tax for which this country has many.

All that crud on your bike and the roulette green still looks awesome. Too bad you folks get hammered with so many taxes over there. I think we're trying to catch up with you here in the States at times.

Thanks, Up.
Here in the good ol' US local govs that are currently having difficulty raising taxes get around that via more and more and higher and higher fines.

It was only a taster for the full course costs 50 quid but I enjoyd it all the same and was a good PR exercise for the police. I must say that all the police motorcycle riders were all a nice bunch of blokes.
