No doubt they figure Lincoln, Nebraska, is the crime capital of the nation, and one of every two Street Triples there will be stolen each year...

I'd be surprised if there was more than just mine in a 50 mile radius.

More likely they just like to gouge the holy *expletive deleted* out of people.

Exactly my point, Hank. Any rationale they might try to use in justification of such a ridiculous price just doesn't hold water.

that's ridiculous... being the college student I am, monthly nuts or bills are not something I fancy so with my TT paid for I figure if the bikes going down it probably won't be fixable... I just hope I am

Dairyland is the way to go.

I have been with Geico for at least 9 yrs, never an accident or anything. I have my 2003 Speedmaster 799cc with them and the policy is fairly low, less than $200.

However, when I called for my Striple, they wanted $1800. I had to asked the lady twice because I almost fainted LOL. In comparison, the insurance costs more than the motorcycle LOL.

This is not a Harlye Electraglide which is twice as much as this moto

Ride safe and fun :P

YEP!! Me and you seem to be in the exact same position and all with our Striples

My dealer recommended an insurance agent who hooked me up with Dairyland. $800 for full coverage (23 years old with an accident that expired 3 days before I got my insurance) with 25/50 coverage and up to $1000 in gear... will also pay for a rental if the bikes in the shop.

Geico was disgusting- $3500/year for me. The cheapest out of the mainstream insurance companies was around $1200/year for Allstate.

my 18 year old son was quoted $2500+ by both Geico and Progressive so he purchesd just liablity coverage and then totalled his new 675, $10,000 gone
the insurance companies know the odds and they are that a young rider is going to crash
